  • Bridgeport Day Run

    08-29-2026 8:00 am

    Join us for an early morning run to Bridgeport, pre pay your registration online and make sure you arrive 15-30 minutes prior to gates opening at 8am. Late August will be hot, the plan is to hit the trails for a few hours in the morning and then head to lunch in the town of Bridgeport. Still planning out the lunch venue, more details to come. Reach out if you have questions.

    We are headed to https://escondidodraw.org/index.php In September. Come on out and have fun camping, learning about your Rover, and offroading! Sign up required! Do that here: https://forms.gle/4XNWTnev3jPjXLf58

    Escondido Draw is the sister park to Barnwell Mtn. You will need an OHV sticker which is for sale at the entrance if you don't have one. Camping is primitive and they DO have RV spots. Visit their site for rates etc.

    This is an informal trip but the schedule is:
    Check in on Friday and set up camp,
    Park trails on Saturday
    Pack up and come home Sunday.

Our Club

TEXAS ROVERS

Established in July of 1995 and later re-organized in April 2000, for 31 yearsTexas Rovers has been the go-to Club for Land Rover owners in Texas. Echoing the recent corporate changes we welcome new Range Rover, Discovery 5 and new Defender owners into our ranks. With Chapters in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio we have the Lone Star State covered. We are made up singles, couples, and families all with two things in common, a love of our vehicles and the great American outdoors.

 

We host SCARR, (South Central Area Rover Rally) a large annual rally held in the spring in East Texas for all Land Rover enthusiasts across the US and abroad.

 

Each month our Chapters holds a meeting/social event. See calendar for more details.

 

We offer classes for all experience levels to teach off-road safety and show what your vehicle is capable of away from the pavement. 

 

Club members enjoy discounts offered by many of the big names in the off-road community.
