Have a friend in the market for a RR Sport. He has asked me two questions which I cannot answer. He has been reading about quality issues and wants to know if there are any "years" to avoid and if it is really worth getting the supercharger?

no years are better IMO, just get one in warranty.

yes the supercharger is mucho betta. it does ride stiffer than a non supercharged though (20's vs 19's and stiffer suspension as i recall)

The S/C version has active roll control (ARC) which is much like the ACE system on the D2s. Very sweet system. 420hp doesn't hurt either.
