Now when I let off the clutch, the vehicle doesn't move. I lifted the flap under the middle seat so I could see the rear drive shaft, and when I let off the clutch, its spinning! Yet the vehicle doesn't move... I'm assuming the rear 3rd member bit the big one, but as I'm new to this vehicle, is there anything else that could be causing this problem?? A few bolts on the end of the hub and you should be able to yank them out and have a look. ----------------------- Jon Button '02 Black P38 RR '91 Range Rover GDE#003

Atleast by locking the front hubs and putting it in 4wd, I was able to limp it around to the garage. Everything from carbs, to slave cylinders, and now axles... I'm learning it all with this Series Michael Neal 1974 Series III 88 (Featuring Rust) 2001 Discovery II (Featuring CDL)

Thanks to Mat who hooked me up with a used drive shaft and a temporary half shaft, the truck is almost all put back together. All that is left now is to fill it will gear oil and put the drive shaft back on, and hopefully its road worthy again!
